We look for teammates who push us to work smarter, harder, and faster.The Data Science internship is an excellent way to drive impact and contribute to the continued success of Ripple’s solutions.THE WORK:As a Blockchain Data Scientist Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to work with an elite data team and contribute to the analysis and interpretation of sophisticated on-chain data. Your work will play a crucial role in driving business decisions and shaping the future of blockchain technology. This internship will provide you with valuable experience in working with on-chain data and exploring the innovative world of web3.WHAT YOU'LL DO:• Preprocess on-chain data using SQL and PySpark to ensure its accuracy and reliability.• Perform exploratory data analysis using Python notebooks and Git, uncovering valuable insights and patterns.• Experiment with statistical modeling techniques using Python notebooks and machine learning tools in Databricks, predicting trends in metrics.• Build visually engaging and insightful visualizations using tools like Tableau, optimally conveying data insights to relevant individuals or groups.WHAT YOU'LL BRING:• Currently pursuing a master’s degree or equivalent experience in data analytics, research methods, statistics, computer science, or another highly relevant field of study.• Proven experience in manipulating datasets through script-based languages like R or Python.• Proficiency in SQL, allowing you to efficiently extract and analyze data.• Strong understanding of statistical principles and experience analyzing large datasets using methods such as regression, clustering, and dimension reduction.• Passionate about learning about crypto and web3, with a desire to contribute to the future of blockchain technology.WHAT WE OFFER:• 12-week internship program where you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of data science.• Regionally competitive rate that reflects your skills and contributions.• A highly collaborative and inclusive office environment, fostering creativity and innovation.• 2:1 mentorship, providing you with guidance and support throughout your internship journey.• Enjoy in-office lunch catering and delivery service, ensuring you have a delicious meal to fuel your work.• Fully-stocked kitchen with organic snacks, beverages, and coffee drinks, keeping you energized throughout the day.• Engage in weekly company meetings where you can participate in ask me anything style discussions with our Leadership Team.• Regular teambuilding and intern events, creating opportunities to connect with your colleagues and build lasting relationships.For positions that will be based in NY, the annual salary range for this position is below.
