The role - your passion

• You will be the technical and disciplinary leader of a new cross-functional software development team, working in the domain marketing integrations

• The team will develop, document and test integrations of our internal applications (e.g. booking funnels) with an external CDP (Customer Data Platform), mostly via REST APIs

• Additionally, the team will develop and expand internal services and modules which abstract the communication with the CDP and other tools.

• You will take active part as a developer in the team’s work

• You will coach and mentor individual team members to help them grow personally and professionally

• You will evangelize best of class development practices in your team

• You will work closely with your Product Owner and Scrum Master to help the team reach its goals

• You will work closely with other team leads and engineers in the roadsurfer engineering organization

What you need to surf the wave with us

• The ability and motivation to be a hands-on servant leader for a cross-functional development team, including data engineers and analysts

• You have profound experience in software development, and thrive on concepts like SOLID, TDD and DDD

• You have significant experience with PHP, experience with the Symfony framework is strongly preferred

• Ideally you have experience with data engineering and analysis

• Experience with marketing tools and platforms such as Segment, Braze and Mailchimp is a plus

• You have at least some experience developing web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular

• You have strong communication skills including excellent English, and the ability to communicate with business stakeholders in terms they can understand
