We are seeking a candidate with the following skills: ? Exposure to autonomy, machine learning, and AI, along with experience in flying software on UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). ? Ability to modify Jetson BSP ASIX driver for compatibility with our mini-DDL (if required). ? Development of a ROS2 node for AV's Mini-DDL. ? Proficiency in installing and using PREEMPT-RT on the Jetson Platform. ? Experience in developing sensor drivers using SPI, I2C, and Serial interfaces. ? ROS2 node development for sensor drivers. ? Proficiency in ROS2 Autopilot architecture development. ? Knowledge of ROS2 closed-loop control. ? Understanding of state estimation techniques. ? Familiarity with GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Control) principles. ? Ability to establish communication between ROS and AV's other Fast-DDS and ROS1 modules. ? Experience in benchmarking video chain latency for various camera modules. ? Proficiency in benchmarking ROS2 performance. ? Optimization skills for fast booting on Jetson. ? (Optional) Integration experience with Plank's Automated landing code.
