RTG works with its local and international partners to help build digital customer experiences, establish remote engineering hubs and build ventures across multiple industries and domains. In this pursuit, RTG serves as a catalyst for impact and growth through events, spaces and content focused on creating impact and growth across the different interactions. 

Robusta is a tech agency working with a diverse client base across different sectors & industries on implementing digital transformation programs. Engagements are typically focused on digitization of existing operations & processes and/or activation of digital customer engagement channels. With a team of 100+ tech and market consultants, robusta maintains an impactful footprint across EMEA and engages with its clients through its two key operations hubs in Egypt and Germany. 

Position Overview

Design and implement a comprehensive strategy to enhance the brand presence of RTG, this will be successful through cultivating and nurturing relationships with RTG’s community members, stakeholders, and partners to strengthen brand loyalty and engagement.  

What you’ll be doing

Events Attendance & Participation (Events focused on Tech Talents - i.e. Techshift, techne summit, career180)

  • Develop a yearly events strategy (participation) of relevant local events that attract tech talents
  • Approach relevant local events for partnerships & team participation (RTG to be present in at least 10 events a year)
  • Handle events sponsorship deals & logistics including booth production, branding, marketing material
  • Report events attendance/participation/sponsorship ROI based on number of new connections made/leads.
  • Handle content/coverage for all events

RTG Events & Meet-ups

  • Work on a calendar of events & meet-ups hosted at Coworker inviting different tech communities (at least 2 meetups/events a month)
  • Reactivate Ecommerce Summit brand through different formats (retreat, meetups, events, etc.)
  • Handle content/coverage for all events

Employer Branding & Talent Marketing

  • Work alongside HR team and according to CFYE targets on employment events strategy to increase our database and acquire more talents.
  • Lead partnerships with top public and private universities in Egypt for data gathering and on-ground presence (at least 15 universities: Cairo, Ain Shams, Helwan, Alexandria, Assuit, Mansoura, Damietta, Zazazig, GUC, GIU, etc.)
  • Organize all employment fair activities & requirements such branding, gifting,employment info/material.
  • Handle content/coverage for all employment events

Team Building

  • Work alongside HR team on team building activities such as the annual retreat, ramadan iftar/sohour and any team gatherings.
  • Source and produce employee gifts for key occasions across the year (mother’s day, Ramadan, Newyears, etc)

News & Announcements

  • Send out monthly newsletters to talents database that focus on positioning RTG as a top Employer
  • Work alongside HR team on announcing open positions via social media, email marketing, etc.

What we need from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, partnerships or outreach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in conveying complex technical ideas in simple terms.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing community events, conferences, or workshops.
  • Understanding of the latest trends in technology and the startup ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with community management tools, CRM software, and analytics platforms.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
