Summary

As the Vice President - Sales, you will be responsible for driving Company’s growth through strategic client acquisition and expanding assets under management (AUM). This role involves building and managing a high-performing sales team, leveraging digital platforms for client engagement, and personally closing high-value deals with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and corporate clients.

Responsibilities

1. Sales Leadership

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of dynamic Relationship Managers (RMs).
  • Set clear objectives and foster a results-driven, customer-centric culture.
  • Provide training, tools, and resources to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.

2. Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with the company’s overall business goals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle for key accounts, from lead generation to deal closure and customer servicing.
  • Drive business growth by identifying and securing new HNI and corporate clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing to identify and optimize lead generation opportunities.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Support RMs in resolving escalated client issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the client experience and address operational challenges.

4. Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze sales team performance against key metrics (AUM, client acquisition, retention).
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Implement tools, training, and processes to maximize team efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Work Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years in sales/business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Pharmaceuticals sales background is a Must.
    • Proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams and driving business growth.
    • Experience in financial services, banking, or FinTech sectors, with a focus on HNI and corporate clients, is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with financial products such as mutual funds and savings platforms is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and email communication.
  • Language: Strong command of written and spoken English.
