That’s what makes us Roche.The Opportunity:In the role of Finance Business Partner, you will:• Be responsible for Marketing, General, and Administrative functions with regard to profit & loss, headcount, and capital expenditure• Drive decision-making by helping the respective leadership teams identify value-adding opportunities• Provide your customers with data-driven facts and requirement-oriented financial insights on key business topics• Coordinate and drive planning as well as forecasting activities, and balance budgeting simplifications with robust, fit-for-purpose information• Develop, implement, and maintain monthly reporting packages• Build and maintain a strong partnership with internal & external finance colleagues, as well as business partners• Perform special projects such as expense, benchmarking, and investment analyses• Scale expertise for future efforts and constantly streamline and upgrade processes• Support ad-hoc and routine analysis• Incumbents may be required to perform other duties as required or assigned by management.Who You Are:Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related field.Preferred Qualifications:• 2 or more years of related experience• Motivated with a strong desire to experiment new ways of working and pilot new areas as well as capabilities.• Conceptual problem solver with strong business sense and customer orientation.• Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.• Excellent skills in spreadsheet tools and presentation software as well as knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP).• Capability to engage with customers and manage their expectations while influencing them and gaining support for your ideas.• Ability to work independently and as part of a (cross-functional) team, bringing agile ways of working, empowered decision making and growth mindset to life• Confident in leading and navigating complex topics and global projectsThe expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $72,500 - 134,700. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
