Job Description We are seeking a personable, experienced human resources business partner to join our growing organization. In this position, you will provides strategy to align business goals with Rockwell Automation polices, process and programs by driving organizational effectiveness, leading of change management, organization development, and managing of talent effectiveness programs... demonstrates functional expertise, and is seen as coach and trusted advisor to the NA Services Team within the Services BU while supporting the leaders to create and maintain a positive work environment. Responsibilities Include:
Ensure alignment between business requirements of the business functions they lead, and Rockwell's HR policies, processes, and programs. In addition, has responsibility for identifying, leading and supporting HR strategies and initiatives within these business/functions. Partners with the directors and their direct reports to define short-term and long-term organization development requirements (workforce planning, people development, culture, etc.). Partners with global HR colleagues and business leaders to create focus on BU goals, including:
org effectiveness, workforce planning, change management, talent effectiveness, and the creation of a healthy work environment which fosters a high level of employee engagement and a performance based culture. Drives successful execution of new initiatives, including the rollout of business initiatives and programs focused on organizational and cultural change. Ensures strong leadership capability for the business and the development of leadership competency within the business. Facilitates the human resource talent review, including replacement planning and identification of high potential employees. Leverages insights from discussions with leaders to address gaps and opportunities, and ensure the creation of development plans to bridge gaps. Identify the technical, professional and management training needs of the employees within the business. Ensure that proper compensation levels and programs are maintained to motivate and retain employees by partnering with HR Compensation team. Advise and assist Directors, and other business leaders on employee performance issues and actions required for improvement. Partners with leaders to create and maintain a culture of inclusion where all employees feel valued and see Rockwell Automation as a place where they can do their best work. Management of 1 HR Generalist Factors of complexity:
Strong strategic thinking capability with the ability to develop a multi-year strategic plan for long term growth with your business or function. Apply long term thinking to business issues and opportunities that have impacts over the short and longer term time frames, including employee engagement, leadership and management development, culture and inclusion, workforce planning. Manage diverse, complex issues on a daily basis; understand the intersections and relevancy between issues to ensure actions are effective. Asses and evaluate trade-offs as required of resources levels, budget allocations and prioritization of initiatives to achieve operational goals. Apply process improvements to facilitate improved outcomes, reduced cost. Develop and implement processes across teams to achieve assigned goals. Partner with business leaders across the business and geographic boundaries to support and manage change, while balancing local and global perspectives in reaching decisions. Seek out and embraces relevant perspectives when assessing a situation or making a decision; demonstrates clear understanding of multiple viewpoints. Leverage business insights in proposing solutions and facilitating change. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Legal authorization to work in the US is required. Preferred Qualifications Typically requires 8 years' human resources experience, including experience working as a hands-on business partner for global companies and management experience. Strategic mindset, strong business acumen, executive presence, strong communications skills, and influencing capabilities. In depth knowledge of HR function with global experience. Experience with programs including Talent Development, Compensation and Benefits, Succession Planning, Leadership Review, Organizational Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Change Management as well as Workforce Planning to people plans specific to business needs. Ability to work effectively across functional lines in a global matrixed environment. Bachelors Degree with professional qualifications in HR Management, MBA is a plus. This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
