About the role

As an AI Engineer at Rogo, you'll be at the cutting edge of AI research and application, playing a crucial role in keeping us at the forefront of what's possible with LLMs. Your work will involve designing and building novel AI software systems and collaborating closely with our product team to develop new features. Your contributions will significantly impact user and developer experiences, leveraging advanced LLM techniques, human-computer interaction, and autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

• Product Iteration: Build novel AI-native workflows end-to-end, finding the balance between state-of-the-art and pragmatism.

• Stability: Deeply understand customer needs and identify product improvements, evaluating and improving our systems over time.

• Large Scale Data Processing: Work with a variety of large, unstructured data sources to develop our products.

• Prototyping: Identify new opportunities for AI solutions based on client needs, and set the direction and roadmap required to implement them.

• Evaluation: Design and implement analytics-driven evaluation systems that enable product growth.

Qualifications

Requirements

• You write amazing code, fast.

• 2+ years of experience in an AL/ML role

• Experience with Python, vector databases, and Large Language Models.

• Demonstrated ability to build and rebuild production systems to deliver new product capabilities and handle increasing scale.

• Demonstrated ability to train, test, and optimize models, and then deploy them into production.

• A strong sense of ownership for problems, with a willingness to learn whatever is necessary to get the job done.

• A deep commitment to end-user experience, and pride in building products that go above and beyond customer needs.

• Ability to work on either frontend (React, NextJS) or backend aspects of the project, with some flexibility to move across the stack.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus

• Experience with a strongly typed language (e.g., Rust)

• Experience at a leading AI research institution.

• Early engineer at a hyper-growth startup.

• Experience with PyTorch / Tensorflow.

• Experience in world-class product organizations (e.g., Notion, Figma).

• Demonstrated passion for startups or early-stage companies.

• Financial services experience.
