Marketing Designer

We are looking for a Marketing Designer

Compensation: $120,000 - $138,000 salary, employee equity plan grant & world class benefits.

About the role

We’re looking for a Marketing Designer to join the Rokt team to support the design and development of marketing materials for internal and external use. The ideal candidate is experienced in creating visually appealing and performant assets for marketing programs, including digital and offline content and constantly seeks inspiration from the latest ad trends on social networks. This role is part of the creative team within Marketing and will report into SVP of Marketing.


Responsibilities

  • Create and execute design briefs in response to a business or customer need - building beautiful and functional marketing assets for all channels including landing pages, decks, ad creatives, print materials, blog graphics, social assets, event experiences and more
  • Contribute to visual research for projects and ongoing brand evolution
  • Suggest improvements to the Rokt design system and able to bring best practice design into their work
  • Collaborate with external agencies 
  • Ability to make technical concepts easily understandable in a visual format
  • Be capable of developing new assets consistent with established brand standards
  • Influence branding decisions and ensure brand integrity throughout all marketing design strategy
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and templates
  • Work with challenging deadlines while maintaining design standards
  • Collaborate with Marketing team members, Executive leaders, Product UI/UX designers, and project leads to ensure deadlines are met
  • Proactively identify opportunity areas for improvement to elevate visual storytelling
  • Understanding new industry developments, software, techniques, and trends—recognizing which are right for Rokt’s adoption

  • 4-5 years of relevant design experience working directly with marketing teams both in-house and in a a freelance capacity
  • Strong knowledge of graphic design, typography, color, layout, and visual timing
  • Track record of delivering high-quality work, on time for complex projects, involving several stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently to a tight timeline
  • Ability to shift quickly between tasks to respond to high-priority assignments and to reprioritize based on new information from leadership
  • Thrive in a collaborative workplace, partnering closely with cross-functional teams across the business
  • Customer oriented and constantly keep the end-user in mind
  • Problem solving skills and excited by creative challenges
  • Conduct deep photo research for on-brand visuals; knowledge of all the key stock sites and photo agencies
  • Deep experience in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Figma required. Experience designing for Webflow preferred
