Senior Frontend Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer

Compensation: $190,000 - $215,000 salary, employee equity plan grant & world-class benefits.

As a key member of our dynamic team at Rokt, we're seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer who will spearhead transformative initiatives alongside a talented, autonomous team. You'll take ownership of critical components within our product ecosystem, driving the delivery of innovative features that captivate consumers. Your role will encompass mentoring junior team members, collaborating closely with product managers and designers to shape our advertising platform, and championing technical excellence at every turn.

About the role: 

  • Identifying and proposing improvements to the current system architecture that emphasize reliability and scalability
  • Working with the product and engineering teams to produce development plans and see through to delivery and success
  • Contributing to the collaborative development processes within the organization on both product and technical domains
  • Support and work with other engineers on best practices, architecture, and quality.
  • Take responsibility for the system health, managing risk and security

About you:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial software development experience designing, building, and operating frontend applications.
  • Comprehensive programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript along with modern frontend frameworks and libraries
  • Robust skills in HTML and CSS best practices, including inner workings of the DOM, iFrames, and security features
  • Insights and intrigue in building high performance secure client side applications nested within critical components of partners multi-page and single-page applications
  • Learn quickly: demonstrated ability to quickly understand and absorb new information. Passion for technology and eager to dive-in to figure out how things work
  • Problem solving skills: able to use first principles - using both qualitative and quantitative data - to solve complex problems
  • Leadership: mentor & help organize engineering contributors, work with the product team to gather requirements & measure tradeoffs efficient and productive manner, understanding business logic and be able to translate into appropriate technical solutions
