About the team

Roku is constantly innovating and finding new ways to provide new value for our customers and Roku's Retail team is responsible for driving the growth of Roku's retail products and programs.

 

About the role

The selected candidate will provide strategy, sales, and business development support to the Roku Devices team. Assists the Retail Strategy Department and a team of sales managers/directors in shaping the product portfolio, go-to-market strategy, and sell-in approach to capture new business and keep existing business. This role supports the team through preparation and participation in meetings internally and with retailers, competitive intelligence, analyzing Circana (NPD) data, and assisting with the management of the sales pipeline. 

For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $175,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.
This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.
  

What you’ll be doing

  • Supports the Director of Retail Strategy on selling to and opening new retail accounts for the Smart Home business
  • Assist in the management of the sales team on existing Smart Home retail accounts
  • Provides weekly reports to keep the team apprised of trends by evaluating and reviewing customer research and data
  • Develops proposals based on trends and understands the impact on the Devices business financial performance
  • Analyzes deals and opportunities with retailers by focusing on revenue, ROI and profitability
  • Comfortable with ambiguous situations
  • Opportunities for stretch projects and assignments
  • Opportunity to grow into the P&L leader for the Smart Home business

 

We’re excited if you have

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, MBA preferred
  • Experience analyzing data and presenting analysis based on that data
  • Experience supporting account managers & sales teams
  • Experience creating presentations
  • Presenting to small groups and colleagues
  • Experience working with mass retail accounts
  • Experience in Consumer Electronics
  • Experience in Smart Home is a plus
  • Previous buying or selling experience a plus
