About the role Roku is looking for a SEO Specialist to build smarter ways to analyze search engine results pages for opportunities across multiple products and markets as part of our Web Marketing team. You will help to enhance our data by building out our data sources to improve our decision-making. You will build reports that matter, picking out the signal from the noise and defining the opportunities and problems that are worth solving. This role will work closely with stakeholders from our Web Development, Marketing, Social, and Support teams to ensure that updates meet all stakeholder expectations and schedules. Our environment is fast-paced, requiring the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in an ever-changing environment. You will need to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. The right mix of organizational and communication skills is key to success. Attention to detail and a proven ability to manage priorities are also essential. We are looking for people ready to lead by example, be selfless in your leadership across teams, collaborate with your peers, and partner with colleagues and external vendors/partners. What you'll be doing Perform granular traffic and conversion analyses across multiple global markets to gain insight into keyword and landing page performance. Use web analytics data from several sources to evaluate traffic building initiatives' effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvements in content, user experience, and conversion. Work with the web development team and stakeholders to implement technical SEO best practices. Work on Roku's technical SEO roadmap to improve our decision-making via utilizing server logs, third-party vendors, external APIs, and analysis of in-house data sources. Perform technical audits to identify any crawling and indexing challenges and perform post-implementation QA. Analyze multiple data sources to inform content creation. Keep up-to-date on new and trending SEO and digital marketing methodologies. We're excited if you have 5years of Technical SEO experience coupled with a deep passion for its details. Analytics skills such as web analytics (Google Analytics/Adobe), dashboarding tools (Data Studio/Tableau), data manipulation (Excel/SQL), and SEO platforms (Conductor/DeepCrawl/Google Search Console). Technical SEO experience optimizing Single Page Applications and JavaScript-based websites. Experience analyzing data to create content strategies with editorial teams. Experience creating impactful SEO reports and dashboards. 3years of project management in a cross-functional capacity. The ability to jump into the day-to-day with the team to solve complex problems, perform keyword research, and test your methods to repeat successes. Team-oriented disposition, ability to partner, engage and motivate technical and non-technical individuals across different teams, including executives. College degree, or equivalent experience.
