What we’re looking for.

The ideal Social Media Coordinator loves the world of finance, can see the big picture, and can take a blossoming YouTube presence of 180K+ subscribers to the next level. This person can broaden and deepen Root's digital presence and brand value by strategically launching on additional social channels, managing the social strategy, posting, and engaging with our community.

What you’ll do.

• Help execute Social Strategy designed for Brand Awareness and Lead Generation.

• Be responsible for daily content posting across social media channels, strategically aligned with content calendars.

• Produce social media posts, reels, graphics, and other assets in support of content priorities.

• Oversee the daily operations and tracking of social media posts on all company platforms.

• Monitor social media direct messages, feeds, and comments; respond or triage questions or comments as needed.

• Produce monthly reports on social media engagement with analysis and recommendations.

• Research and develop strategies to incorporate emerging social media tools, and new content platforms, into an overall multi-channel communications plan.

Skills you’ll need.

• Possess strong visual, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok and Instagram.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Creative and outside the box thinker

• Light video editing and design experience

Compensation for the role:

• Competitive pay: Base starts at $68,000 + Bonus Incentives
