Ultrasound Technologist Requirements:
-Minimum one (1) year of ultrasound imaging experience is required.
-RDMS certification is required RVT additional certification is preferred.
-Demonstrate professionalism and practical interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
-Ability to be self-directed and organized to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
-Must provide proper credential documentation per company, client, and state requirements.
-Must be current on all vaccinations as required for hospital employment and pass any needed health screenings, including drug and background checks. Must have a current BLS/CPR
Ultrasound Technologist Job Responsibilities:
-Demonstrate proficiency in medical diagnostic imaging procedures (OB, general, and vascular).
-Communicate pertinent clinical information and ultrasound findings to the radiologist.
-Manage High-Level Disinfection (HLD) procedures and documentation proficiently.
-Displays effective utilization of PACS systems and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to obtain or enter appropriate care data.
Roshal’s Ultrasound Technologists perform a variety of routine and emergency ultrasound imaging and other sonographic procedures with minimal supervision, requiring independent judgment.
