Principal Responsibilities:

  • Participate in day to day operations including the Vulnerability Management Program.
  • Vulnerability scanning and documentation to secure the environment, maintain compliance and to better understand and develop automation.
  • Implement, automate and update security controls for customer-facing SaaS environment spanning both Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Confirm and document vulnerability and security risks and work with IT and Product teams to develop mitigation plans.
  • Monitor, validate and troubleshoot security controls and security logging in a business-critical environment.
  • Create metrics, measurements, and tools to drive operational improvements.
  • Participation in Incident Response and remediation.
  • You may encounter or work on technologies such as: RSA Identity product suite, Endpoint protection, WAF, SIEM, Next-Gen firewalls, SOAR, FIM, CSPM, public cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

Essential Requirements:

  • Production operation of multiple security technologies in public cloud environments such as: Vulnerability scanning and management, SIEM / logging, WAF, security groups and network segmentation, system hardening / STIG, incident response and malware prevention.
  • Experience working with FedRAMP, federal or related compliance and security operational control methodology and practices.
  • Critical thinking skills and drive – asking what could be, how we could do it better, and desire for continuous improvement and efficiency through automation.
  • Demonstrated group, team and/or thought leadership in cloud environments.
  • Experience and familiarity with networking concepts and host operating systems including Linux and Windows.
  • Strong communications and information presentation skills.
  • 5-10 years related industry experience or equivalent.

Desirable Requirements:
  • Cloud automation skillset within Azure and/or AWS environments.
  • Experience securing AWS and Azure cloud environments.
  • Understanding of FedRAMP, SOC2, NIST, CSA or other security compliance frameworks.
  • Capability of automation using scripts, Python or equivalent and familiarity with serverless, REST APIs and secure process implementations.
  • Experience in a government or FedRAMP environment is highly desirable.
  • US Citizenship required.
