Job Title: Marketing Coordinator FLSA Status: Non Exempt
Job Purpose Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the marketing department with a range of projects including in-store merchandising, digital menu management and working with designers
Essential Job Duties
- Update online menu content and nutrition information across platforms including rubios.com, Rubio’s online ordering platform, third-party delivery menus and nutrition platform.
- Coordinate merchandising updates as they relate to our product celebrations including rollout of new Point-of-Purchase and printer distribution lists.
- Address requests and needs from restaurant general managers related to menus, POP, and other marketing materials.
- Purchase and manage inventory of all marketing materials, including the maintenance of internal ordering websites used by restaurant managers and Rubio’s corporate team.
- Work in conjunction with the in-restaurant music provider to update play lists on an ongoing basis
- Work with multiple external vendors (such as graphic designers, printing companies, and advertising agencies) to ensure Point-of-Purchase materials are designed and printed in a timely manner
- Assist with general administrative needs of the marketing department including the tracking of an paying invoices.
- Opportunity to lead small-scale marketing initiatives and promotions.
- Additional projects as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Experience: Previous marketing or restaurant experience a plus
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office applications.
Language Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, takes initiative to develop ideas and drive for results, creative problem solver, and analytic skills
Reasoning Abilities: Ability to use good judgment and focus on repetitive, detailed tasks.
Other Abilities: Ability to manage multiple priorities at once, strong organizational and planning skills, detail orientation, quantitative aptitude and team player
Reporting Relationships
Reports to the Marketing Director.
Working and Environmental Conditions
Typically functions in an office environment. Tuesday and Thursday in office, rest of the week is remote.
Physical Demands
Typically requires sitting, standing, walking, for extended periods of time. May require time in front of a computer for periods of time. May require some lifting.
