Your focus will be on Systems Engineering as it relates to network architecture, policy-as-code principles, and model-based engineering. You will collaborate closely with software, network automation, and infrastructure teams to ensure that the ABMS DI Network meets its operational goals under real-world constraints and that delivered solutions align with CI/CD practices and RMF requirements.

What You Will Do

    • Partner with QA/Test engineering to define automated test cases that confirm network performance, resiliency, and RMF compliance
    • Engineering Process & Standards
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for process, plans, standards, and policy inquiries, with a particular focus on alignment to DoD security frameworks like RMF
    • Provide input on ROI and impact analysis for network automation tooling and policy-as-code initiatives, supporting broader engineering trade studies
    • Collaboration & Integration
    • Coordinate developers to ensure stable builds and helping to build automated verification solutions to enable successful integration (SWIT) of new features

    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and automated testing frameworks
    • Understanding of YANG-based or intent-based configuration approaches for large-scale infrastructure
    • Knowledge of OpenAPI or other API modeling frameworks is helpful
