You will work closely with our experienced researchers to explore novel AI methodologies, conduct experiments, and contribute to academic publications. If you are interested in gaining hands-on experience in AI research and being part of a team that is shaping the future of technology in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, then this internship is ideal for you!What You Will Do:• Contribute to the preparation of presentations, reports, and research papers.• Participate in research discussions and brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and approaches.• Implement and optimize machine learning models in a variety of applications.• Test and validate algorithms to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.• Thoroughly document and present findings, progress, and results to the team.What You Will Learn:• Gain knowledge on conducting research on state-of-the-art AI techniques and contribute to the exploration of new approaches.• Learn and assist in the design and development of innovative AI algorithms and models.• Gain exposure to conducting experiments to validate and improve existing AI methodologies.• Work with the team and collaborate with the research team to analyze and interpret experimental results.• Actively demonstrate interest and curiosity in keeping up with current machine learning methodologies by regularly reading and analyzing research papers.Qualifications You Must Have:• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contractQualifications We Prefer:• Experience using development tools/environments such as AWS, Linux, Conda, pip, Git + Github, GPU’s, VS Code, Spyder., Python• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.• Familiarity with academic research processes, including literature reviews and paper writing.Learn More and Apply Now!Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
