This position will be within the Product Support product line. The selected individual will be responsible for procurement efforts in support of multiple programs within the Product Support business area.What You Will Do:• Perform procurement and supplier management activities in support of U.S. Government and Commercial contracts.• Place purchase orders of medium complexity and medium volume. Support on less and more complex work will be required at times as well.• Utilize source selection techniques, compile, and analyze data to perform price analyses, conduct negotiations (including terms and conditions), and identify supplier risks, with guidance as needed.• Ensure that requirements (prime contract, quality, terms and conditions) are properly communicated to suppliers and manage supplier performance to cost, schedule, and quality requirements.• Work cross functionally with engineering, quality, and program management along with other key functional groups to ensure program needs are met by resolving obstacles that require ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.• Monitor procurement reports and help drive performance to meet company metric targets.• Communicate clearly and be proactive in a fast-paced environment. Be flexible, innovative, work with speed and agility yet be thorough and compliant with government and Raytheon regulations, while successfully driving tasks to completion.• Assist in the training of peer procurement professionals as needed.Qualifications You Must Have:• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or and advanced degree in a related field.Qualifications We Prefer:• Ability to participate in formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual requirements).• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers.• Strong organizational skills.• Proficiency to perform and comprehend price analyses, sole selection/justification, and analysis of supplier quotation.• Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).• Ability to travel domestically/internationally, if required.• DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).• Experience with SAP.• Six sigma and productivity improvement experience.• Level 4 acquisition certification• Working knowledge of Raytheon systems, processes, and proceduresWhat We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
