Job Summary:

Shared Test Technician is to perform functional test of the product to a procedure to validate the working condition. Technician will also be empowered to perform some troubleshooting and repair. Finally, the technician will perform acceptance test per procedure to then send the unit for sell off.

This position is an onsite role.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Perform a variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Working in a cleanroom environment, performing some mechanical assembly using various tools and fasteners.
  • Use of hardware like machined housings, circuit cards, mirrors, motors, and optical assemblies.
  • Use precision torque tools, solder, repair, and/or inspect electric and mechanical systems.
  • Utilize special test equipment to perform a variety of tests and alignments of various hardware.
  • Interface and communication with Engineering involving technical discussions will be required.
  • Requires the technician to pass certifications and to work limited overtime when needed.
  • Expected to cross-train for other areas and be engaged with daily production activities that drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and schedule performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience working with written documentation (Assembly Instructions, Drawings, Test Procedures, and/or Shop Processes, etc).
  • Experience with torque tools.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance after the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Experience working in an ESD and FOD free environment.
  • Working and collaborating in a team environment.
  • Quality Conscious
  • Honorable Military service is a plus.

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
  • Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
  • Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
