Rune Labs is a software and data analytics company focused on precision neurology, looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to work on their cloud platform handling biometric data.

Skills

Python or Go experience
Unit and integration testing frameworks
Experience with APIs, ETL pipelines, databases
Handling sensitive data

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, and maintain software for the cloud platform.
Share responsibility for production, including automated infrastructure and CI/CD.
Mentor and provide feedback in feature design and code reviews.
Balance short and long-term technical priorities with Project Managers and other engineers.
Ensure ethical considerations are applied in data handling.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
