Reporting to the Head of Americas Marketing, the Senior Account Based Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the growth goals for the company’s largest value clients. This is a role located regionally, but with a global remit, and primarily responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts through tailored, dedicated Account Based Marketing plans. In this role, the candidate will work closely with different marketing sub-teams, customer success and commercial teams to ensure success and alignment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan, and execute on initiatives and activities through an Account Based Marketing plan to support a select number of global priority accounts

• Work closely with a dedicated global account team to closely align and understand the commercial objectives and priorities for their portfolio of accounts

• Routinely analyze and report on ABM activities to inform future activities and realize areas to scale efforts to the wider marketing team

• Collaborate with VOC company experts to utilize customer feedback and incorporate into activities and inform future decisions

• Effective stakeholder management to ensure alignment and agreement across the account team, including providing regular performance updates

• Manage a dedicated ABM budget to deliver on defined ROI

• Ensure defined KPIs are being met throughout the calendar year

• Understand the energy markets and how changes can impact your account’s portfolios and how these changes can be incorporated into current marketing activities

• Identify venues to connect with the target audience and work in connection with the Event Manager to ensure Rystad’s presence at all applicable external events

• Support competitor landscape screening

Experience, skills and personal qualities:

• 5-8 years of relevant work experience (regional marketing, audience marketing, field marketing, product marketing), ideally with a focus on Account Based Marketing

• Experience and knowledge of the energy industry is preferred, but not required

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising or communications

• Knowledge of marketing automation software, graphic design software and/or basic programming is beneficial

• Video editing capabilities preferred, but not required

• Strategic thinker with analytical skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proactive and creative

• Team player comfortable with managing multiple stakeholders with strong opinions

• Strong multi-tasker with the ability to remain focused

• Self-motivated achiever comfortable communicating with all seniority levels

This position is located in Houston (with a hybrid work environment) and will require some travel.
