What work will I perform at Landstar?
Handle inbound and outbound calls and provide quality customer service, and troubleshoot and assist with ELD (electronic log device) equipment malfunctions. Handle inbound calls regarding any safety or compliance emergency situations.
Experience needed for the role
- Ability to work outside of standard business hours including weekends and holidays
- Customer service experience
- Ability to remain calm in demanding situations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication skills in all modes
- Ability to follow oral and written instruction
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Intermediate Excel knowledge
- Call center experience - inbound and outbound
What you need to bring to Landstar
- Associate’s degree (A. A.) preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three years of related experience required
