Job Summary:
The company is looking to recruit an innovative and motivated Head of Human Resources (known internally as People & Culture Lead), who will oversee the development of a growing HR team across several locations in India. Given that candi is taking solar into a new realm with a new set of tools, the role will require creativity, innovation and a new way of thinking.
Specifically, the job requires taking responsibility for strategic oversight of all HR functions for the Indian team.
Responsibilities- Developing and implementing strategies for recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development and employee engagement
- Overseeing all HR activities, initiatives and processes (high emphasis in suggesting and implementing improvements where needed). This includes working closely with the Finance Team for Payroll and Compliance.
- Leading (and recruiting) and expanding People and Culture Team in the Indian market and provide coaching and guidance for them
- Measuring and analyzing metrics such as recruitment, employee engagement, attrition and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Working closely with the Global Head of P&C to maintain a healthy culture in the organization.
- Working on global projects which involves coordination with candi People & Culture teams in Switzerland and South Africa
Location: Gurgaon (combined with working from home - hybrid working)
Hours: Full time (Very experienced candidates may be considered for a part-time position)
Job requirements- MBA or PGDM in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or similar.
- 15-20 years of experience in human resources, change management, recruitment, or similar, which includes 5-10 years in a leadership role
- Ability to think strategically
- Experience in a start-up environment is vital, especially in an international company in India
- It is critical that you are digitally savvy, and experienced with using a wide range of Hybrid Working tools; preferably with experience of having implemented digital HRIS, Appraisal and Performance Management systems.
- You must display genuine emotional intelligence, with the ability to oversee diverse teams from across a wide spectrum of society.
- It is essential for the role that you demonstrate autonomy, initiative, possess strategic thinking skills, and have the ability to adapt and apply candi’s global vision effectively within the context of the Indian market.
- Excellent written and spoken English & Hindi a must, preferably with at least one of the Indian languages (e.g. Punjabi, Marathi).
