Job DescriptionSaint Luke’s North Hospital in Kansas City is seeking a team oriented nurse who is passionate about working with leading technologies, believes in knowledge sharing, and is motivated by continuous innovation to join their team. This unit performs Therapeutic interventions, pulmonary procedures, pre and post procedural care, Pre Anesthesia Assessments, Endoscopy and other GI procedures beyond upper and lower scopes.In this role you will assist with pre and post procedural care, pre anesthesia assessments, and circulate and assist physician during procedures. You will travel to the ICU to perform bedside procedures as needed.This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a fast-paced environment that will provide variety each day. We are looking for nurses who enjoy working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, patient centered, and eager to learn.GI or procedural nursing experience is not required. We are willing to train.Responsibilities:• The Registered Nurse in the Digestive Disease/GI Department at Saint Luke's Hospital functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.• Coordinates the care for a group of endoscopy and/or bronchoscopy patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.• Delegates tasks appropriately.
