The School of Business is one of the largest business schools in Western Canada. We deliver programming to more than 3,000 students in credit programs annually. Our degrees, diplomas, certificates, and courses are aligned to industry and designed to meet the needs of today’s employers. Programming areas include accounting, financial services, management, supply chain, marketing, administrative, legal, and more.
We are currently recruiting contract instructors to facilitate part-time (evenings/weekends/online) Business courses. Delivery may occur on SAIT’s main campus in Calgary or via remote delivery using synchronous weekly virtual classes and/or asynchronous online activities. Reporting to the Academic Chair, you will be a self-starter, have a passion for facilitating applied learning for others and for lifelong learning. You will professionally facilitate the learning process of the students and support students in achieving established learning outcomes to the maximum of their potential. You will use all available resources, methods, techniques, and strategies to ensure student success. You are expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a student-centered learning environment which is pedagogically sound, technically supported, and innovative in nature. You must demonstrate excellence in your communication and organizational skills and be able to function in a collaborative team environment.
