The Team:

What you'll be doing:

The Sales Finance team builds reports, conducts analysis and provides insights to C-Level, Board room, VP's, sales managers, which help them run the business better. This is a highly visible role with tons of growth opportunity at a hot start up. They are an experienced analytics professional who is genuinely passionate about data and how it guides strategy.

The analyst, will help drive Business Insights through holistic analysis of the entire business eco system.

Work with a wide range of business and technical stakeholders to identify use cases and gather requirements for analysis, reporting, and automation. Research data from key business systems, assess data quality and provide end-to-end business intelligence solutions to support our business.


Key Requirements:

  • Analyze data to shed light on key business questions and present on findings
  • Build dashboards using SFDC and other BI tools enable ongoing delivery of information and insights to Sales , Finance and marketing stakeholders
  • Build and maintain user friendly documentation for data models, metrics, and reporting
  • Drive the business KPI's using SFDC, Clari, Excel, Google sheets that help influence business strategies
  • Translate and present complex data into actionable insights through analytic deep dives and dashboards.
  • Collaborate closely with other functions like Sales , Marketing, finance ,to deliver projects that will help build a deeper understanding of business through scalable data engineering and reporting
  • Build out new reports and dashboards based on business requirements
  • Apply data knowledge to synthesize findings for executive presentations.
  • Build scalable reporting, including data sets, queries and dashboards that enable Sales Leadership to understand the business through metrics like revenue attainment, revenue forecast, coverage, retention and sales productivity
  • Own the reporting cadence and needs for a weekly/monthly/quarterly report production
  • Actively contribute to development, production, automation and continuous improvement of content that meets the needs of our operating rhythm, including weekly business reviews focused on input metrics
  • Help on projects as needed to support the business, such as comp plans, rep attainment, planning
  • Assist cross functionally team in collection and preparation of Board reports
  • Answer ad hoc queries and translate numbers into a narrative – or data story – to help decision-makers understand a situation and take considered action.

What you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering, finance or or equivalent experience
3-5+ years of work experience in carrying out financial analysis for venture-backed companies

Fascination with identifying trends, desire to make things more efficient, and strong communication skills

Interest in supporting a team with a high-growth user base

Interest in learning the SaaS community and KPI metrics

Looking for high energy, passionate, dynamic and very good to work with teams.

Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Sales Cloud, Looker, Power BI, Google Big Query, SQL

Experience supporting the data needs of a large (50+) sales team

Experience partnering with business and strategy teams to architect and strategize scalable data visualizations
Strong operational mindset & attention to detail; an ability to design and implement solutions at scale
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance (at times in a changing environment with a high degree of ambiguity)
