Sales Coordinator

KUSA9, the TEGNA owned NBC affiliate in Denver, CO, is looking for a Sales Coordinator, passionate about building a career in media sales. In this role, you will provide administrative and sales support for our vast range of broadcast and digital product offerings. You will also assist our Traffic Team in daily Copy Coordination responsibilities. Self-motivation and willingness to work as a team player are essential attributes. Creativity and ability to change with our industry are the keys to your success.

Pay Range: $48K-$52K year

Responsibilities:

  • To accurately input commercial instructions for broadcast TV and digital orders secured by our local, national, and regional team of sellers.
  • Ensure commercials are received and downloaded by deadline for proper airing of spots.
  • Manage revisions and missing instructions for assigned advertiser and communicate with the sales department regarding the status of any issues.
  • Work with Account Managers for both linear and digital on accurately inputting, revising, and checking customer orders.
  • Back-up Copy Coordinator and Account Managers.
  • Work closely with internal (sales department) and external (advertisers) customers in a professional manner.
  • Develops campaign performance recap reports in tandem with Digital Sales Manager.
  • Attends weekly sales meetings and training sessions for both linear and digital.
  • Crosstrain with Sales Account Managers to assist in managing TV advertising campaigns.
  • Efficiently learn all station provided sales tools and software including WideOrbit Traffic.
  • Provide additional administrative duties as requested.

Job Requirements:

  • College degree in communications, marketing or business preferred
  • Exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Must be extremely organized, multi-task oriented and excellent communicator
  • Demonstrate effective problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
