Sales Development Manager - (Onsite-Hybrid)

We are currently hiring for a Sales Development Manager to join our rapidly growing team at Upland Software. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions. Reporting directly to our Director of Sales Development, you will be an experienced leader with the ability to motivate a large SDR team and help our Sales teams hit their goals. We are looking for someone who enjoys challenges, problem solving, coaching, and brings a strong work ethic and initiative to get the job done. You will be responsible for creating a scalable SDR program that yields repeatable pipeline results, while documenting processes along the way.

***This is a hybrid position, you will need to come into the Austin, TX office Tuesday through Thursday. ***

Qualifications:

  • Hire, train and coach a high performing SDR Team.
  • Design and facilitate regular training on product, industry, and selling skills
  • Coach and mentor SDRs on personal and professional development
  • Report and analyze individual and team performance metrics to isolate trends & opportunities to improve.
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional leaders.
  • Motivate and inspire SDRs to reach their full potential.
  • Lead by example by getting into the weeds of the day-to-day SDR operation.
  • Problem solve and strategize to optimize performance results.
  • Creatively reward and incentivize positive behavior and results.
  • Identify opportunities to improve on process, efficiency, selling skills, and implement.
  • Create a positive and collaborative environment to facilitate growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success as an SDR manager in the B2B SaaS space (1 yr. min requirement)
  • Proven individual success in quota carrying roles (100%+ attainment consistent achievement)
  • 2+ years in SaaS Sales
  • BA/BS or equivalent practical experience required.
  • Strong work ethic
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Annual on target earnings of $100,000 ($60,000 base salary + $40,000 commission) + benefits
