Your Role

Ubiquity is looking for a results-oriented Sales Development Manager to build a globally distributed team of high-performing Sales Development Representatives. You will coach and inspire others, design scalable processes, and effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners. Your attention to process-driven growth, paired with your ability to motivate others, will be critical in helping drive qualified opportunities at the top of our sales funnel.

The successful candidate will be someone who relishes the opportunity to build an organization and its processes from scratch, thrives in a goal-oriented environment, and is adaptable to changing conditions at a growing company.

This role will be remote with up to 10% travel to our New York City headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the top-of-funnel ICP, in partnership with the Marketing team
  • Audit and optimize the quality of leads mined for the SDR team in partnership with Marketing Operations
  • Develop always-on outbound campaigns
  • Hire, train, and continuously coach/ mentor members of the SDR Team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities
  • Provide the Demand Gen team with real-time feedback on MQLs and campaigns
  • Partner with the Sales Executive team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes and to identify areas of improvement for the SDR Teams
  • Work in collaboration with Content and Marketing Program Managers to develop effective messaging to convert inbound interest into qualified pipeline opportunities
  • Accurately forecast weekly, monthly, quarterly attainment goals

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • 7+ years of business development, strategy development, or sales management experience at a leadership level; preferably in the BPO Industry
  • Management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing the performance of direct reports
  • Ability to execute on and motivate a team around growth and sales targets
  • Experience as a sales trainer preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of call center operations, products, services, and knowledge of financial services industry
  • Prepared to go the extra mile and get the job done
