Do you love solving problems? Are you motivated to provide customers with a once-in-a-lifetime experience? Does using technology to transform the everyday get you fired up? Tomo is on a mission to transform the homebuying experience, and we need some GOATs to get us there!

As a Sales Development Representative at Tomo, you will work as part of our front line team to engage, educate, and provide guidance to new customers who are learning about our mortgage offerings. Our Sales Development Representatives are the first point of contact with future homebuyers! You are primarily focused on introducing our unique Tomo experience to homebuyers and cultivating relationships with real estate agents.

This role will require working some non-traditional hours (i.e. weekends and evenings).

The things you'll be doing...
  • Being the FIRST Tomo contact to our customers
  • Providing a world-class customer experience as a part of helping customers choose the Tomo Mortgage
  • Engage with customers and real estate agents via text, email, phone and live chat!
  • Educate customers about Tomo, our offerings, and the pre-application process, establishing trust
  • Connect and maintain relationships with real estate agents to keep them in the loop of how their buyers are progressing in the mortgage process
  • Collaborate with Loan Officers to connect with customers to answer questions that require a license, i.e., questions about product, rate, and eligibility, and ensure that customer needs are met by these conversations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the current processes and show the ability to identify patterns and processes that may improve downstream business practices
  • Adapt to and embrace process and policy changes as we learn more about our customers, their needs, and how to drive an industry-changing customer experience in mortgage

You may also have the extras...
  • Experience in financial services or technology
  • 1-2+ years of sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Spanish language fluency

This role is based in our Seattle, WA office Monday - Wednesday, and is remote-optional Thursday & Fridays.

The base salary for this position will be between $47,000- 57,000, with an added incentive pay of $10,000.
