Sales Engineer for NAND / DRAM Memory Test

Teradyne has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer focused on NAND / DRAM Memory Test for a large global memory company. In this role you will establish personal relationships with key decision makers with the customer. You will provide input to key strategic decisions concerning resource prioritization, pricing, positioning, product marketing, engineering roadmaps and differentiation.


Ideal locations: San Jose, CA, Folsom, CA or Boise, ID


Qualifications, skills and experience:


  • 8+ years of experience selling automated test equipment.
  • Proven track record in achieving/exceeding sales and market share targets.
  • Solid experience in building and managing a major sales account, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Experience in business exploration and evaluation in Technology, Semiconductors, Capital equipment or related industries.
  • Skill working and operating globally with working knowledge and familiarity with NAND and DRAM industries.
  • Significant experience in creating and leading a team to proactively manage customer relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire the team while creating a highly empowered organization.
  • Manages all activities related to gaining market share and meeting sales quota including identifying and qualifying opportunities, engaging customer in discovery process through business discussions, managing the competitive sales process, alignment of Teradyne Nextest product roadmaps, forecasting, and quoting and supporting a large global memory company.
  • Travel 25-30% as needed for the position.

Education:


  • A Bachelors ideally in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or Business or equivalent work experience.
  • MBA strongly desired.
