Sales Engineer - North America Region

Role Summary

In the Sales Engineer role, you will be accountable for the Technical Pre/Post- Sales Support, including, customized application engineering and solution, pricing/quotes, implementation, and training. In addition, you will be involved in assessing the current and future products/services opportunities to meet customer needs, prepare product specification, presents BOM and pricing to customers, contribute in post-sales support of installation and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Assists sales team in defining customer’s requirements
Leads the first pass of RFx responses and works with PLM, pricing and services team to deliver a complete and compelling response to the customer.

Works with Product Managers to reflect customer requirements in a feature set & roadmap
Creates product solutions (architecture, dimensioning) that are reviewed with the sales team, operations, and customer
Creates price quotations that reflects the product solution and are approved by the commercial pricing team and execs.
Works with the operations team to create approved project plans that are monitored throughout the project implementation

Works with the customer and internal teams to make needed modifications and develop installation requirements if needed.
Proposes process improvements to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Proposes product improvements and enter them as feature requests that are monitored and tracked.

Job Requirements

Electrical, Software or System Engineering degree - post graduate degree is desired
Experience working on 3GPP 4G and 5G Radio Access Networks (RAN) - 5 years or more. PLM, SE or Systems engineering roles
Experience and knowledge of Open RAN and virtualization
Experience and knowledge of 4G and 5G Core networks is desired
