“We’re not in the shipping business; we’re in the information business” - Peter Rose, Expeditors Founder.
Global supply chain management is what we do, and at the heart of Expeditors you will find professionalism, leadership, and a friendly environment, all of which foster an innovative, customer service-based approach to logistics.
Do you want to be part of an international team with a focus on creating and developing customer relationships?
As our new District Sales Manager (country sales manager), you report directly to our District Manager (country manager). You will form the engine room in our Norwegian commercial efforts with a focus on building awareness of Expeditors in Norway and thus increasing our market shares through Expeditors' sales program.
Together with your colleagues in the operation, our District Manager and our commercial manager for the Nordics, you will help set new standards for how we land new customers and secure new business from our existing customers.
Over time, you will become responsible for building, leading and developing a team of skilled salespeople and account managers.
As a team, we love to win: We are ambitious and we take pride in reaching our sales targets and celebrate each other's and our joint successes. With us, the ceiling is high, with decision-making power and great freedom under responsibility.
Even though we work independently, we always have a lifeline back to the team and our sales approach is "the team selling process" where we plan together how a customer should be approached. You will have a very large contact surface internally with sales and account management teams, especially in the Nordics and Northern Europe, and you will over time create your own network within Expeditors.
Your base is our office in Jessheim, where we look forward to seeing you when you are not out with customers - either physically or virtually.
Our tone is open, honest and informal, and we appreciate a good laugh. We offer a supportive, friendly working environment where everyone works together to achieve common goals.
At Expeditors, we have a very long tradition of offering development opportunities to employees in all job functions as well as a very competitive bonus program and sales commission. Training and education are the lifeblood of Expeditors, and as part of our team, you will regularly participate in further training to keep your sales skills sharp and your knowledge of our products and services and the industry up to date. We also offer employee stock options.
