This position will be based in our Los Angeles office and will manage a predominantly remote SDR steam and collaborate with our in-office leadership team.
About Our Sales Team:
- Our Client is a small-to-medium business owner in need of business capital
- NO COLD CALLING- All leads have submitted an online inquiry. Partnerships include; Nerdwallet, Experian, Sofi, Lending Tree and many more
- We operate a 2 part sales process: SDR to Inside Sales Rep
- SDR teams are based in multiple locations and we utilize best of breed remote work tools such as Zoom, Salesforce, Gong
- Sales close in 1-3 calls
Role Description:
- A Sales Manager that is both analytically minded and understands the principles of Sales Management
- Motivate, Train and Drive the Sales Team to established KPIs
- Collaborate with Sales Trainers to increase sales team efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop top talent to be promoted internally
- Develop and launch new initiatives
- Be the conduit between the sales team and the leadership teams
- Pay includes: Base Pay, Commissions, Spiffs, Performance Based Bonuses
- Utilize top tier technology; Salesforce.com, Five9, Domo, Gong.io, Docusign, Calendly etc
- Our leadership team are incredibly supportive in helping and mentor new team members to become top performers as quickly as possible

Your Responsibilities will include:
- Your role as the sales manager will to manage a team of sales reps to help them improve their sales effectiveness
- You will be involved with the hiring process to ensure the team is staffed correctly. We expect ~25% growth for the remainder of 2023 and a further 30-50% growth in 2024
- Develop the sales team! A great manager develops more than just their sales skills, they help develop them as people to bring out the best in each person on their team
- Understand your analytics and what levers can be pulled to increase performance
- CONSISTENTLY hit or exceed weekly quotas. We hire amazing people, provide them amazing training, and expect amazing results
- Be committed to continual training and development. Our sales team receives daily group training, as well as multiple 1:1 sessions per month with our sales trainers. You are expected to ultimately help lead these trainings
- Be focused on your career progression to be promoted internally
Who We’re Looking for:
We want highly competitive, highly talented individuals who truly believe they can lead the best team within 6 months. You have direct comparable sales management experience; you have a track record of demonstrated success as a top producer in your prior roles, and you know what it takes to get there. You are a fast learner, have excellent communication skills, are a team player, and have a genuine desire to help your team.
Required Traits and Skills:
- Proven track record with MINIMUM 3+ years in sales management
- Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM (such as SalesForce)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a sales team and multiple projects
- Strong ability to manage through sales scripts
- Basic overall understanding of credit scores and reporting (we provide extensive training)
- Excellent communication skills: both verbal and written
- Highly competitive in nature
- Genuine desire to help other people
Nice-to-Haves:
- Have managed an offshore sales team
- 3+ years Financial Services sales (Ex. Banking, Insurance, Mortgage, Business Funding)
- Experience working with small-to-medium size business owners
- Competitive spirit and track record of results (for example; sports teams, organized music, etc.)
Salary & Benefits
- Compensation: A combination of base pay + performance-based compensation.
Expect average annual pay ranging from $125,000 - $200,000 based on performance
