General Summary:

The Sales Operations Analyst is a highly analytical role within the Sales Operations Department focused on guiding and supporting the Sales Organization with data and insights to help reach their goals and objectives. The role is responsible for being a trusted advisor to the Sales Leadership Team on any data or analysis that will help them make informed decisions. The ideal candidate will be analytically driven, have a deep knowledge of aggregating data sets to drive insights and reporting, and have a passion for creating efficiencies and automation. This role should be able to act independently and put forth their own proposals or ideas but has the capacity to work well in a team environment and collaborate on projects within the Sales Operations Department. This role will also be engaged with intradepartmental projects within Sales and the greater Revenue Organization, as well as act as a subject matter expert for interdepartmental projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to solve problems, perform data analysis, and make data-driven decisions to support the Sales Department
  • Anticipate reporting & analytics needs of the sales department by working with Sales Management to identify areas of focus, trends, deficiencies, or inconsistencies, and offer suggestions and interpretation of the data
  • Familiarity with pipeline and forecasting analysis and metrics to drive sales attainment
  • Ensure the timely delivery of all sales reports and data needs
  • Understanding our different reporting tools and CRM platforms to help translate for the sales team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex analyses and insights to senior leadership
  • Work directly with other departments to represent and drive the needs of the sales department to balance the needs of the business with what can reasonably be delivered by other departments to meet the business demand
  • Partner on special projects as needed
  • Act as a liaison with Finance, Marketing, Post Sales, and other Systems/Operations Departments
  • Lead initiatives to improve productivity for Sales Operations and the entire sales department
  • Create internal training documents related to sales process and procedures to be used by the sales teams

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable within a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with visualization tools; PowerBI is preferred
  • Organized, effective time-management
  • Strong facilitation and inquiry skills
  • Keen eye for report formatting/design layout (ad hoc reports, presentations, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
  • Cross-team and inter-team relationship builder

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience

Working Conditions:

  • Professional office environment
  • No travel will be required
