The Sales Representative is a "producer" role and responsible for developing strong partnerships and
expanding revenue growth opportunities with the organization's existing top clients. Providing exceptional
client service, delivering product knowledge and construction building cycle expertise, conducting bid
preparation and job tracking, and ensuring key performance indicators and sales metrics are reached, are keys
to success in this position. This opportunity is located in the Fargo, ND office.
Annual compensation, including sales commission structure, is commensurate with relevant job experience.
This position reports to the reports to the Company's Chief Sales Officer (CSO).
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with the organization's existing significant clients to expand revenue growth opportunities.
Deepen client relationships, keeping them engaged with the organization, our products and services.
Promote product lines to client base to generate new market opportunities.
Provide product expertise bringing value to our clients on bidding and winning projects.
Serve as project manager for clients by managing specialty product projects, being the conduit between vendors and clients.
Ascertain competitive market information for use in vendor pricing and client quoting.
Conduct sales reporting, project backlogs and product line metrics.
Education & Experience
Associate/Bachelor degree or higher, or equivalent sales experience
Minimum 2+ years inside sales experience, preferably in a distribution, construction or manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
Person of integrity with a stellar record of maintaining and growing client relationships
Self-directed with collaborative sales skills, initiative and flexibility
Motivated and proactive with the ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational, time management and attention to detail skills, with the ability to prioritize
Strong communication skills both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and savvy with technology
