Job Description

The Sales Tax Accountant will be preparing and reviewing multistate sales tax and Canadian indirect tax documents as part of a team. Job duties include:

  • Prepare multistate sales/use tax returns.
  • Prepare monthly tax account reconciliations.
  • Prepare other business tax filings, such as property tax returns and annual business reports.
  • Validation of customer exemption certificates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline.
  • 2+ years sales tax experience in multiple states required.
  • Experience working with Vertex O and Vertex Returns a plus.
  • SAP and/or Oracle knowledge preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Salary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
