Job Summary
The Washington Post is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our team that is dedicated to developing, supporting, and building out the Client Solutions Salesforce group. The developer will work directly with team members ranging from business analysts, Client Partners, sales management, and sales operation.

Responsibilities

Translate functional requirements into technical requirements
Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex code with best practices
Ensure the best possible quality of the application
Use Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Lightning aura components to Implement features and bugfixes within the org, following org architecture, software engineering principles, and coding best-practices defined by salesforce team leadership
Take ownership of project work and developing client relationships (should be a confident self-starter)
Identify bugs and align with requirements during debugging
Independently learn about different existing systems within the org, documenting any gaps along the way, and plan out feature changes and bug fixes to properly account for that existing work
Write test classes for the class that you develop and ensure more than 80% code coverage
Give constructive, actionable feedback on other team members' solutions

Qualifications

Familiarity with Digital Advertising and have built out a system for a digital advertising company before (a plus, but not required)
Experience with Operative One (a plus, but not required)
Experience with TCRM and/or Media Cloud
Proficiency in Salesforce development (including APEX, LWC, Aura Framework, Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, Lightning, Java and JavaScript)
Proficiency in SFDC Customizations such as Custom Objects, Custom Tabs, Custom Fields, Validation rules, Workflow rules, Page Layouts, Record Types, Flow & Process Builders etc
Fluent with Lightning
Reliable and self-motivated
6+ years’ experience as a saleforce.com developer
Analytical Skills
Knowledge of web coding including HTML and CSS
Ability to solve problem sets
Familiarity with Big Data
Ability to multitask
Ability to liaison with non-programmers
