Salesforce Engineering Manager (Vendor Relationship Management) (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Salesforce Engineering Manager (f/m/d) to join our Global Salesforce Tech tribe. Our Global Salesforce tribe work on building an in-house Salesforce ecosystem within Delivery Hero and with our global entities. Our responsibility is to understand the strategic business needs and translate these into our Salesforce platform, so that we can create a dynamic and stable global architecture that is adaptable to local needs.

Your Mission:

  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within autonomous teams.

  • Take part in architectural decision-making.

  • You'll be a core member of the team supporting all of our Local Shop Vendors.

  • You will hire and develop a great team and ensure you set them up for success.

  • You will design, build, test, iterate and deploy new features, system integrations, enhancements to existing features, and provide operational support.

Your Heroic Skills:

  • Leading a team in an emphatic and inspirational way that is respected by the team

  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in system design, development, and support

  • Strong understanding of both administrator and developer areas of the Force.com platform, understanding when and why to use admin vs. dev solutions.

  • Experience in designing high-performing codebase.

  • Experience in secure code development.

  • Champion in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices.

  • Develop high quality, reusable and maintainable code using Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, Apex Triggers, and integrating force.com systems with third party systems for enterprises using SOAP, RESTFUL Services.

  • Knowledge about Security models and techniques within the salesforce.com environment.

  • You are familiar with version control (Git) and SFDX.

  • Experience with developing custom Lightning Components using Aura and Lightning Web Components.

  • Experience with Service and Sales Cloud Case Management, Lightning - Knowledge, Live Agent, Omnichannel.

  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Nice to Have:

  • Strong understanding of relational databases and object-oriented coding

  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML/CSS/JS

  • Experience with service-oriented architectures like REST/SOAP/gRPC/…

  • Force.com certifications - Administrator, Developer, Advanced Developer, Architect

  • Experience with Force.com Communities, Force.com Lightning

  • Experience with agile methodologies

  • Passionate about best practices
