Position Summary...What you'll do...As a Merchant, you'll serve as an advocate for our customers and see the products you buy come to life in Clubs and online. The Merchant is responsible for developing and fostering productive relationships with our suppliers. Imparting the Walmart and Sam's Club way of working, driving efficiencies, and ensuring accountability within our supplier community is essential. Merchants act as the driving force behind this effort. Part visionary and part strategist, you'll be the expert for your category and leverage the scale and access of the Walmart and Sam's Club system to truly impact the business and the lives of millions of customers worldwide. Along the way, you'll be guided by our deep-rooted culture with the support and tools you need to do your best work.The Wellness team is member obsessed and makes every category decision with the member at the center. As a Merchant of the Wellness category with responsibility for the digestive health business, you will work closely in a cross-functional, buying team to help select items, establish strategy, and manage budgets to drive profitable growth. You'll have the ability to develop robust long-term partnerships with suppliers and use data and creativity to benefit the member experience.
