Electrical Engineer 74330

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to manage and oversee new electrical design and construction projects at their advanced semiconductor manufacturing facility in Taylor, TX.

Skills

4-year degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Minimum 5 years of Electrical design and project experience in an industrial setting
Experience in Petrochemical or Semiconductor industries is preferred
Working knowledge of IBC, IFC, and other codes and standards
Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas, or ability to transfer from another state is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, ETAP/SKM, AutoCAD

Responsibilities

Manage and support building planning and design for Electrical systems related to new and retrofit construction
Maintain and report project information with internal and external project stakeholders
Manage project schedule, cost, and quality of work performed by contractors
Facilitate team documentation and development of site facilities construction specifications
Review and report scope change requests related to cost and schedule
Present and report project and team status to department management

Education

4-year degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering at an ABET accredited institution
