2020 Companies is now interviewing for a remote Retail Sales Director role representing our client, Samsung Electronics America.
**Ideal candidates will reside in Dallas or Houston area for proximity to retail locations**
The Retail Sales Director is senior-level role, focused on leading people, driving sales results, and client services. The ideal leader has proven experience managing multiple retail locations and has excelled in the consumer electronics, wireless, or technology industry. An ability to wear many hats will be critical to success in this role as you will serve as the single point of contact for our client’s sales leadership team and will partner with our Operations Director as the face of the 2020 brand in all aspects of the program.
As a client services leader, you will work closely with client personnel to ensure the overall success of the program through daily communication, strategy collaboration, and overall program direction. The role will rely heavily on your ability to innovate, execute strategy, and drive sales results at retail. A key responsibility will be creating client and executive level presentations, based on gleaning key insights from retail reporting and your in-depth knowledge of industry trends. Your ability translate ideas into recommended program initiatives and new strategies will be critical to client satisfaction. Having a servant-leader mentality, a relentless desire for constant improvement, and an ability to connect remotely will be key to success in this role.
The Retail Sales Director will have direct reports at locations nationwide, and a key to success will be having a hands-on approach to coaching and mentoring. You will direct leaders on sales and in-store operations, requiring an ability to coach and counsel across various disciplines. The role will also require communicating team and brand expectations to staff and ensuring the program is not only able to track, monitor, and report on in-store and performance, but ultimately meet sales objectives. The ideal candidate will be experienced in hiring management, driving change through others, teaching, inspiring excellence, and collaborating remotely to build a best-in-class leadership team.

Job Description:
Drive sales results by coordinating store activities with store management and associates
Serve as the direct contact for the client and ensure program and client needs are being met
Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients on national and regional levels to align 2020 and client goals
Effectively coach and mentor store leaders to ensure proper management techniques, policies, etc.
Motivate, direct and coordinate activities of the management to meet and/or exceed sales goals and objectives
Responsible for communicating and managing T&E budget(s)
Administer and document all counseling and terminations accurately and in a timely manner, while following established procedures
Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures
Perform all other duties as assigned
Performance Measurements
Meet established program KPIs, related to field performance
Maintain proper headcount in all areas
Customer/client satisfaction based on candidate submission, field activity/objectives, and operational KPIs
Overall profitability of the program
Qualifications
5-8 years sales or business development experience required
3-5 years retail, client, or sales management experience required
Proven results in consumer electronics, wireless, or technology industry
Extensive retail sales management experience required
A high-level of proficiency in PowerPoint, attention to detail, and ability to tell stories through digital media is essential to the role
Superior leadership abilities with effective, professional communication and presentation skills; comfort leading key presentations will be regular part of the role
Proven ability to show good judgment and initiative, make decisions and problem solve
Capable to work autonomously with excellent time management skills
An ability to travel 10% of the year to various event in the US and work flexible hours
