The Airside & Terminal Operations Department is looking for a self-driven individual with demonstrated technical and analytical skills in an Airside Operations Duty Manager II role. The selected candidate will be a part of a fast-paced environment and will be at the forefront of airside safety operations. They will use their critical thinking skills to solve intricate issues in real-time and will build relationships with stakeholders to coordinate project completion while maintaining airside operations. Alongside the daily responsibilities of the selected candidate:
Essential Functions:
· Represents all aspects of airport emergencies and operational activities; maintaining safety and security integrity of airfield with standard on the airfield, taxiways and airside; manages FAR Part 139 programs including airfield safety inspection and reporting, airfield signs, markings and lighting, airfield pavement management, airfield driver training program, aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) contract, airfield wildlife management, disabled aircraft recovery; Part 77 obstructions, aviation fueling inspections, annual FAA certification inspection.
· Serves as liaison with contractors during construction and maintenance projects on runways, taxiways, aprons and terminal facilities; issues NOTAMs and communicates airport operational advisories to tenants, air traffic control, governmental agencies and the public.
· Manages the Authority gate management system during an assigned shift. This includes facilitating gate and remain overnight (RON) parking assignments on the airfield as well as bag carousel assignments within the terminal.
· Coordinates, responds and participates in airport emergencies with first responder agencies including law enforcement, medical, HAZMAT, TSA, ARFF, customs and border protection; manages aircraft gate schedule, remain-overnight aircraft parking assignments and changes in airline and charter aircraft schedules.
· Manages airfield escort activities in compliance with mandates and regulations; maintains, and strengthens partnerships with stakeholders; interprets mandates and regulations to stakeholders; works collaboratively on organizational programs and initiatives; ensures delivery of effective customer service; develops resolution and course of action to conflicts.
· Maintains records, operational log and correspondence; develops reports and correspondence; participates in operational and industry meetings; oversees service provider contracts and activities; participates in goals and objectives development, as well as capital and operating budgets; implements change.
· Seeks and participates in opportunities to improve, streamline, reinvent work processes, manuals and program documents; adapts best practices and processes; serves as a subject matter expert and provides input for airfield and airport infrastructure; keeps up-to-date on industry and regulatory trends and shape stakeholders views; performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Training, and Experience**:
· Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in Aviation Management, or a related field;
· Two years of large or medium airport operations experience;
· Equivalent combination of training and experience;
· Maintain a valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain insurability under the Authority’s vehicle insurance policy.
**American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), AAE, ASC or ACE OPS/SMS certification may be substituted for the educational requirement.
*Responsibilities require flexibility to work rotating and shifts including weekends, holidays and night shifts.*

The hiring salary for the Airside Operations Duty Manager II is $95,235.
The pay Range for an Airside Operations Duty Manager II is $73,227 to $117,243.
