Overview
We’re looking for a Data Analyst with exceptional data mining, extraction, and modeling experience with a keen business acumen. The successful candidate will work with a combination of financial and operational data. This role will be responsible for template and automation creation, status reporting, and database / Smartsheet configuration. This role will work to validate, organize, and analyze data to generate insights. This role is located in Denver, CO. All qualified candidates MUST reside in the Denver metropolitan area and be able to work on-site. In addition, all qualified candidates MUST be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship or C2C.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Creating templates and automation, status reporting, and configuration
- Building of scalable, flexible, and detailed data models
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses and presenting results in a clear and insightful manner
- Creating meaningful data visualizations and compelling data views
- Familiarity working in large, enterprise environment with many cross functional teams
- Communicating with stakeholders in a professional, succinct and helpful manner
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and an ability to work independently
- Ability to flex and be adaptable between different data requests and collaborating teams
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years direct experience in data analytics, data modeling, or data reporting
- Experience in the telecommunications/broadband industry is preferred
- Proficient in using Advanced Excel (including Power Pivot and VBA)
- Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with SQL database structures, access, and modification
- Proficient with SmartSheet and Tableau is desired
- Excellent query and scripting skills
- Familiarity working with multiple data sources including financial and operational data
- Ability to work with data visualization tools and techniques and to translate information into compelling data views is required
- Exceptional ability to communicate with stakeholders and provide insightful and meaningful data interpretations
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related degree is required
Compensation
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This role has a salary range of $65,000-$75,000. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
