Database Administrator

At S&P Global, we are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our team and ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our internal databases. The Database Administrator will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of data systems for our global operations.The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong understanding of database... security, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and replication protocols. They will have a minimum of two years of experience in a production database environment. The Database Administrator should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work independently and as a part of a team.We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and passionate about their work and excited to join a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain data systems for global operations. Monitor database performance, troubleshoot any issues, and take corrective action. Ensure data security and integrity through data backup and recovery protocols. Develop and implement replication protocols for data redundancy. Monitor and optimize database performance through tuning and optimization techniques. Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of databases with other applications. Develop and maintain documentation for all database systems. Research and recommend improvements to existing database systems. Provide technical support to users on database-related issues.
