Responsibilities

Assist the veterinarian in exam rooms
Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and catheter placement
Obtain laboratory sample collection and process results
Perform diagnostic imaging and anesthesia
Prep patients for and assist in surgery
Perform dental prophies
Administer vaccines and medications
Communicate with and educate clients

Education

Veterinary Technician degree or equivalent
