Manager, Inside Sales

What's the Short Version?

The Manager, Inside Sales manages a team that provides customer service and/or account support to SanMar customers and is responsible for aligning their team with the department, functional and company goals and guiding principles.

 

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Effectively manage, develop and support Inside Sales Supervisors and their teams by providing consistent coaching, support and communication.
  • Help establish operational objectives and work plans for the Inside Sales department.
  • Handle escalated issues where analysis of situations/data requires in depth knowledge of organizational objectives and company politics.
  • Assist team members in resolving problems of attitude or interpersonal deficiencies through the use of counseling and confrontational skills
  • Regularly interact with sales leadership and assist in guiding the direction of the department including goals and structure.
  • Ensure team members are fully informed of all new information related to products, procedures, customer needs and company related issues, changes or actions.
  • Conduct regular on time performance appraisals of all team members.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate Inside Sales policies, procedures and systems leading to improvements.
  • Travel is required to attend leadership events, National Sale meetings, trainings, and to come into the office as needed.

 

What Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7-9 years of progressively responsible customer support experience.
  • 1-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Displays a high level of business acumen.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Has the ability to build meaningful partnerships.
  • Contributes to building a positive team spirit.

 

What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $90,000 - $120,000 (WA, NJ); $82,800 - $110,400 (MN, NV, TX, VA); $77,400 - $103,200 (AZ, ID, FL MT, OH, TN) annually, depending on experience.

 

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 15% of base salary.

 

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 152 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
