About the Job
The Lead of Commercial Operations supports the US Head of respiratory and GI business unit and will be responsible for monitoring and implementing the BU’s priorities while ensuring the BU runs efficiently and interacts effectively with all stakeholders. He or she will provide strategic and operational support in line with the BU’s overall business objectives. This role will involve cross functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, TLL, PSS, Finance, Business Operations, Market Research, Market Access, and Medical Affairs. He or she will be responsible for overseeing the strategic business planning process, analyzing and identifying opportunities and associated strategies for growth, and identifying areas to improve overall BU effectiveness. This role is very dynamic; so, prioritization will be critical.

Main Responsibilities
Oversee the strategic business planning and budget process for the BU Budget / F1 / F2, LRP, Strategic plan
Lead and facilitate weekly Performance Insights meetings with key stakeholders for ongoing evaluation and reporting of the team’s performance to senior leadership, highlighting key trends & issues as well as identifying opportunities and associated strategies for growth
Coordinate and lead weekly team meetings, as well as business reviews with senior leaders, in conjunction with the BU Head
Collaborate with colleagues from US and Global to inform the story for business reviews
Work with leadership to define strategy and tactics to achieve business and people objectives
Organize and facilitate deep dive acceleration plans as needed
Coordinate analytic exercises in partnership with Business Operations
Provide operational and project management support to the US Head of respiratory and GI BU
Represent the US Head of Respiratory & GI in meetings, events or any instances necessary
Prepare or ensure preparation of presentations and documents requested by the US Head of Respiratory and GI for internal and external meetings and events
Serve as lead for all compliance related deliverables on behalf of the BU. Work with brand and functional leads to ensure teams are aware of Sanofi Genzyme compliance procedures, changes, and follow-up.
Lead key cross brand projects as determined by the business, , including team training and capability development (e.g. MEX). Leverage key functional relationships to scope, coordinate, and deliver on project requirements.
Facilitate leadership dynamics: foster collaboration, create time for discussion and exchanges

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in commercial operations: sales, marketing, sales analytics, product/project management.
Knowledge of specialty care market and /or consultancy experience in health care
Strong analytical and strategic thinking
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or other advanced degree is preferred
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional groups such as Marketing, Sales, R&D, Medical Affairs, Market Research, Finance, Forecasting, etc.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Strong project management expertise
Self-direction in ambiguous environments

The salary range for this position is:
$172,500.00 - $249,166.66All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
