About the SAP Internship Experience Program

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.

What you’ll do:


Position title: SAP HanaHaus iXp Intern - Social Media, Content Creation & Digital Marketing

Location: Palo Alto or Newport Beach, California

Expected start date July 2023

Duration: 6 Months (Potential to extend)

Schedule: 40 HR/Week


Social Media

  • Create optimal content and posts for each channel of social media.
  • Plan and map out content and schedule content through a social media management tool.
  • Plan, develop, and execute campaigns to increase engagement & followers specific for each platform.
  • Actively engage with our audience through social channels such as direct messages, commenting, and liking posts.


Content Creation

  • Create video content, take high quality photos, and design captivating digital assets using editing tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and others.
  • Write and publish blogs/articles that are important for HanaHaus.
  • Design posters, flyers, guidelines and other necessary items needed.


Digital Marketing

  • Manage and update website with latest information and events.
  • Create a monthly newsletter featuring exciting content and upcoming events.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and speakers on various virtual and in person events.
  • Owning and leading the entire end-to-end event process (from start to finish) of all community events
  • Design Event assets and promotional marketing materials
  • Create and publish event page through Eventbrite
  • Promote event with marketing posts and promotion for social media posts on various platforms
  • Send out Reminder and Thank you Emails through Eventbrite.

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

The ideal candidate should possess a diverse skill set, including experience in video editing, graphic design, and social media brand strategy. You should have a solid understanding of creating engaging content across various platforms. You should demonstrate a coachable mindset and be open to learning and adapting to new strategies and trends in the dynamic social media landscape.

Additionally, you must exhibit excellent time management skills to effectively balance multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Your ability to take ownership of digital marketing efforts will be crucial in driving our brand's online presence and reaching target audiences effectively.

You should be open to new and innovative solutions and are also willing to adjust course when appropriate new ideas or objections are raised.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or enrolled in Master’s. Previous experience in consumer-oriented marketing, social media and event management. A willingness to learn and grow into the role.

The HanaHaus team is looking for a talented and passionate Social Media, Content Creation & Digital Marketing Intern. This fulltime internship position will be based in either Palo Alto or Newport Beach.

Our team adds a personal touch to each HanaHaus location, and we are committed to empowering our members in every way. We keep HanaHaus full of amazing small businesses and entrepreneurs by making inspiring first impressions with everyone we meet. We are the heart and soul of the HanaHaus experience. The intern will be asked to drive these engagements and grow our virtual audience by cultivating our social media strategy, engaging with our followers and community, assisting with virtual events, developing new content and repurposing existing materials. For an innovative and customer facing initiative like HanaHaus we are looking for a person who has a “can do” attitude and will support all areas of the project, including day-to-day operations and event support, whenever needed.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. SAP offers limited benefits for employees hired into hourly or like roles subject to appliable plan/policy terms.
